| Meyis Otomotiv HaberleriAkyıldız, who continues to meet with industrialists as part of his election campaign, visited Yaşar Köklü, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Meyis Automotive Industry, and Metehan Köklü, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, at the NOSAB Organized Industrial Zone, to exchange information about the sector's challenges. Akyıldız, emphasizing the advantage of manufacturing the domestically produced TOGG automobile in Bursa Gemlik, said, "Our industry must prepare for this transformation as soon as possible. We know that fossil fuels will be phased out in many countries around the world by 2030, and replaced by electric vehicles. Furthermore, this will not be limited to electricity; in the future, vehicles will begin to be produced using new technologies, utilizing hydrogen and solar energy. As Bursa's industrialists, we must be prepared for this transformation. Many of our colleagues, especially those operating in the automotive components industry, should act with an investor spirit and begin investing in this area. In parallel with the battery factory whose foundation was laid by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we should also invest as soon as possible. All molds, components, and spare parts for the domestically produced TOGG automobile should also be produced in our city. If I am elected as a Member of Parliament on this issue, I will strive to be a voice in Ankara regarding the transformation of our industrialists." Yaşar Köklü, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MEYİS Automotive, said, "I agree with Mr. Kemal. As a businessman operating in the automotive industry, I believe our government should be working to encourage exports. We especially need coordinated efforts regarding TOGG."
